CA course will be better for average student?
Lalu, my brother is a CA and I can answer this question for you from a personal perspective. He wasn't the class topper but he was sure he wanted to become a CA. He put in all he had it in him to clear the subjects. Now the best part is irrespective of what stream you have studied in your 12th, you can still study to become a CA. My brother studied his 12th in MEC which made it a little easier for him. Having said that, there are many non commerce students who study to become CAs. And you also attend study groups which means you do not have to take the burden of studying and preparing alone. There are many coaching centers which coach you in Foundation, Intermediate and Final courses. So you get enough help. The only difficult part is that you have to clear both the papers at the same time with a total aggregate of 50% and individual aggregate of 40%. Now few are objective papers and few are subjective papers. So you need to find the balance in preparing and appearing for the exam. Most coaching centers also enroll in B.Com (//B.Com) as an alternative career path. This only will help you to make it easier to prepare for CA because the preparation will be easier. So, in other words, average students can study to become CAs. And now, after starting as an average student, my brother is an Investment Banker today. So, you can too. Good luck, Lalu!
