Calculate the m/m % of solution containing 100g of NaCl dissolved in 500g of water
Answer (1)
Hello aspirant,
The formula for the m/m % calculation is:
percentage by mass = (mass of solute / mass of solution) x 100%
(mass of solute = 100g mass of solution= 100g+500g=600)
Therefore, % concentration = (100g / 600g) x 100% = 16.66%
Percentage concentration = 16.66%...............(Ans.)
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
