Students studying in class 10 are eligible to appear in the NTSE 2021 exam. It must be noted that Indian students studying abroad can appear directly for the stage 2 exam. NTSE Exam 2021 stage 1 will be conducted on December 12 and 13, 2020. Those students who will qualify stage 1 exam will be eligible for the stage 2 exam to be conducted on June 13, 2021.

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts NTSE 2021 exam in 2 stages. Stage 1 of the NTSE will be held at the state level exam whereas stage 2 exam will be conducted at the national level. . Only Indian students, who are pursuing their studies from schools in India are eligible to appear in the stage 1 exam. Complete NTSE Eligibility Criteria 2021 is mentioned below.

• Students studying in class 10th from recognised schools are eligible to appear in NTSE stage 1.

• Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, and Sainik School students can apply for NTSE from the state where their school is located. There will be no domicile restrictions for them.

• Open and Distance Learning (ODL) students are also eligible to appear in the NTSE stage 1. They must not be employed anywhere. They must be appearing in 10th exam for the first time.

  Students who will successfully qualify stage 1 will be eligible to appear in the stage 2 exam.

  • Firstly, students have to score minimum qualifying marks in the stage 1 exam to qualify for stage 2.

  • All the states will release the NTSE cut off for their respective states along with the NTSE result 2021 .

  • Students should obtain section-wise and category-wise cutoff to get selected for the stage 2 exam.

  • This should be noted that, If a student attains cutoff marks but fails to qualify any of the sections, then he/she will not be selected for the NTSE stage 2 exam.

No 10+2 level passed students are not eligible to give NTSE only 10th class students are eligible for NTSE. Students studying in class 10th from recognized schools are eligible to appear in NTSE stage 1. NTSE Stage 1 exam will be conducted on December 12 and 13, 2020.  NTSE 2020 application forms are released in online and offline mode.  Class 10 students are eligible to fill NTSE 2020 form.

NTSE Exams is not conducted for students of class 12th or the passout of class 12, it is generally conducted only for class 10 students by NCERT.

Unfortunately you cannot apply for NTSE exam., You can not apply for NTSE .
NTSE or National Talent Search Examination is conducted for class 10 students only (i.e. students studying in class 10, and are yet to appear for their board examination). So, no, NTSE exam is not for class 12. If you want, you can KVPY (Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna), which is connducted for class 12 students also.
