For medical aspirants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET qualifying standards 2021. The NEET 2021 eligibility criteria outline the requisite percentile, nationality, age limit, and other requirements for candidates to sit for the test, all of which must be met by each candidate.
Candidates must have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2021 to be eligible for NEET.
NEET Maximum Age Limit*-The maximum age limit is still being decided, thus all candidates are temporarily eligible to apply for NEET 2021.
Marks for NEET eligibility in 2021
The percentage necessary in class 12 for the NEET 2021 test is different for each category and can be seen below. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 are solely taken into account for PCB courses and are as follows: UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45 percent.
A candidate should have completed 17 yr by 2021 December to write neet. Hence a student born in 2005 is not eligible for NEET 2021
