Assisting physicians in cardiac allied health disciplines are cardiovascular technicians and cardiac technicians. However, the way they operate varies somewhat depending on the situation. A cardiovascular technician can do echo and EKG tests and help doctors during invasive cardiovascular treatments. However, a cardiac technician cannot do all of these. Compared to these two, cardiac perfusion is very different.
