Can a 2nd year MBBS student do NCC so as to get a post as an army doctor?

In short, you are asking that if you can serve an army after MBBS.

So yes.. you can.... there is a small test taken to test your mental and physical strength and after that you can serve as an army doctor. And if you want to join NCC then I will suggest you to approach to your nearest NCC unit because age limit to join ncc is maximum up to 25 year.

I have heard that, you don't have to give a theory examination if you have done NCC, is it true?

Hello Aspirant,

Actually NCC is done in 1st year and most of them join NCC in first year so the NCC takes 3 years to pass.So you have ton talk to the college battalion officer or contact the professor about joining the NCC.

Talking about NCC you can join an Army doctor but for short commission for short period of time you are eligible to be an Army doctor.
