Can a autonomous college take admission without cet approval
Hello.
There are two ways to get into any college. Either qualifying entrance exam or direct management admissions. For direct admission you need to pay some money apart from College fee and you are not eligible for scholarships and all. It is better to go with first option that is through entrance exams.
Admission process for college of engineering
- Aspirants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in PCM and 50% marks in Mathematics separately.
- Aspirants must have passed Class 12th with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
- Besides the above, aspirants must also comply with the eligibility requirements of KEAM as admissions to BTech programmes at COE is based on this exam. For more details of KEAM eligibility criteria, click the link above.
COE BTech Admission and Selection Process 2018
To secure admissions to BTech programmes at College of Engineering Trivandrum , aspirants must have qualified KEAM(Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance Exam) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Exams (CEE).

Besides applying on the official website of the institute, eligible aspirants also need to apply for KEAM for admissions to BTech programmes at the institute.
KEAM 2018 application process
Aspirants can apply and submit the application form for KEAM 2018 online for all courses. However, if a candidate submits more than one printout of the application then, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.
Any aspirant who does not belong to SC/ST community will be treated as General category candidate for the collection of application fee. The application fee for all candidates will be as follows:
- General : Rs.800/-
- SC / ST : Rs.400/-
