Can a BA English (hons) graduate apply for MA in English (Lit.)?

To be eligible for MA in English Literature , below are the criteria mentioned.
- A student must have a degree of a BA in English or equivalent degree from a recognized institute.

The candidates aggregate percentage should be minimum of 50% or above at the qualifying level exams. ( Here you should know that some universities ask for 60% minimum aggregate percentage too)
