can a bhms do opthomologist or specialist
Hello,
An ophthalmologist is a professional who deals with the diseases and surgery of the visual pathways, including the eye and brain.
- To become a qualified ophthalmologist, one should complete MBBS degree first, and then go for post-graduation in Ophthalmology.
- The degrees are Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Master of Surgery (M.S.) and Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS).
- Then residency known as internship.
- Further work experience in the form of fellowship, registrar or senior resident refines the skills of these eye surgeons.
And if you not willing to do MBBS then you can do a four year program in doctor of medicine.
Then gain an experience in this department and you are go to go.
