If you are asking that whether one could do MD (psychiatry) in Modern Medicine after BAMS, then you are not eligible for it. For that the basic qualification is MBBS to do md in psychiatry field.

As you are from bhms, then according to recent report-

AYUSH systems of medicine now have their own post graduate courses in Psychiatry. One could try to get information about such courses online.

Till now, only mbbs students are allowed to appear in the neet pg entrance exams.

So, bhms students are not allowed to appear in neet pg.

But, if you really want to take psychiatry as your future career then i will suggest you to go for diploma/certificate courses in this field.
