Can a bio student apply for NDA

You can check eligibility criteria to apply for NDA :
- Only male candidates (unmarried) who are India nationals are eligible to apply as per NDA eligibility criteria.
- The candidates applying for admission into the Army wing of National Defence Academy should be Class 12 pass.
- Candidates must have passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University to apply for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy.
- Candidates who are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. Those appearing in the class 11 exam are not eligible.

The educational qualification of UPSC NDA is given below:
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy - Candidates must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

NDA, the national defence academy, gets the student entry through the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) however there is an strict eligibility criteria for the same.
only boys are eligible for the entrance exam and girls cannot appear for it. also, maths and physics is a compulsary subject in 10+2 or equivalent exam for the application into NDA, for entry into Indian Navy and Air Force.
you must also keep in mind the physical and medical aspects.

There are certain points you need to know about the eligibility criteria for NDA exam :
- For NDA (1) 2018: The candidates possessing age between 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2002 are eligible for the examination. If born before 2nd July 1999 and after 1st July 2002 then not eligible for NDA (1) 2018 exam.
- For NDA (2) 2018: Those who have age between 2nd January 2000 to 1st January 2003 are permitted to write the exam. If the candidate bears the age before 2nd January 2000 and after 1st January 2003, they are not allowed to appear the exam.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination. Girls are not allowed for the NDA entrance examination.
CITIZENSHIP :
The appearing candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan.
