IPMAT is an exam conducted by IIM Indore for admission in 5 year undergraduate program.

There is no as such specified stream or subject who can give IPMAT, anyone can give it.

Also, the eligibility criteria for IPMAT is-

• The candidate should have scored a minimum 60% in Class 10th/SSC and also in class 12th/HSC in case of general and NC-OBC cagtegory.
  
• The candidate should have scored a minimum 55% in class 10th/ssc and also in class 12th/HSC in case of SC, ST and PwD (DA) category.
  

You can clear the exam by studying regularly.

Hi Arunima, as per official website of ipmat any student who has atleast 60% or more in HSC/SSC or equivalent degree. So yes being bio student you can give ipmat. More information you can get from following link.

ipmat eligibility is just that you have to score more than 60+ percentage in your 12th exam.

but i think its tough to crack ipmat for bio student because there is mathamatics in ipmat paper and you guys even hate mathamatics or forgot everything since last 2 years.but you can give it.
