can a bsc first year get into iiser through scb?

a candidates can appear in kvpy exam in either of the stream as follows:

SA

SX

SB

AS  For your current status you belongs to sb category: eligibility criteria is Candidates who enrolled in 1st year of the UG programme in Basic Science (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology)- B.Sc/BS/B.Math./B.Stat./MS/Int. M.Sc) can apply for this exam. however Candidates must score at least 60% (50% in case of SC/ST/PwD category) in 10+2 examination. In the first year of their final exam in B.Sc/BS/B.Math./B.Stat./MS/Int. M.Sc, students must secure 60% (50% marks  for SC/ST/PWD)

Hello student as per eligibility criteria Candidates must passed class 12 or equivalent examination with science stream from a recognized board in 2020 or 2021 to apply for admission in IISER 2021.

If you've passed class 12 in 2020 and take admission in BSc in 2020 then yes you're eligible to apply for admission.

Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three  exams Jee KVYP and SCB.
