CDS Academic Qualification For I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy graduate in any discipline from any recognised university or equivalent. For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from an Institution/University recognized by the central government.
For Air Force Academy: Graduation degree from any recognized university (with physics and mathematics compulsory at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. For Officers Training Academy: Graduation Degree in any disciplines recognised university or equivalent. For Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Degree from a recognized university or equivalent

Flying Branch
Posses a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60 % or equivalent.
Candidates must have passed Maths and Physics in 12th or BE/B.Tech degree. Or have cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers India or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Technical)
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics): 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics in 12th and 4 year degree graduation/integrated PG qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognised University. Or Cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with 60% marks or equivalent in certain disciplines.
Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical): 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics in 12th and a minimum of 4 year degree graduation/integrated PG qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognised University Or Cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies with 60% marks or equivalent in the required discipline.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
Administration Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent.
Logistics Graduate Degree: 3 year degree course in any discipline from recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university of 60% marks or equivalent.
Accounts B. Com. degree: 3 year degree course from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
