Hello Amit,

Journalism requires no less skills than writing a book or even drawing a picture. Its hackneyed word, but I cant avoid it here, journalism requires Talent with capitalized T. The quality of your texts is a key. You can investigate a whole sensational corruption case but then write about it so that nobody will be interested. We are lucky with the fact that you can gain talent practicing and learning.

3 main steps for you are:

1. Read authoritative journalists, their articles in newspapers, personal blogs and even Tweeter notes. This way you will get used to the qualitative writing, develop your taste, maybe borrow some juicy phrases for your own texts.

2. Write as much as you can. You just open a Google Docs and write about anything you see, about chandelier in your room for instance. But make it catchy, think of an interesting story connected to that chandelier. Thats how you will develop your personal style.

3. As for the particular question of trying it before choosing, there are no better options than to make your personal website with all articles you write. Its an ultimate way to do all in one  know your audience, edit your own texts and show them to the public. Share your blog in your social media accounts. That will show you, if youre not afraid of being read, praised or criticized. You will see how you feel about all this publicity and how people react on your texts.

Hello Amit,

Unfortunately you need to have Hindi as a subject in your previous year education. Since you are from commerce you can get b. A hons if you have Hindi as a subject during the duration. If yes you can get the degree and become a journalist in Hindi language.
