Dear Applicant,

How are you doing ?, you have chosen a very noble profession indeed. Being a commerce student doesn't affect. You can certainly join in IB / RAW.

You can get into IB / RAW through this channels

• Through armed forces, army, airforce, navy and all the other special forces.
• Through civil services like IPS, IFS. By being an IPS officer you can join CBI, RAW n can remain in state police services etc..

Another way is through exam,

These are the few criterias you have have to full-fill to get into it

• You must be Citizen of India.
• You must be have a completed graduate degree from a recognized University.
• Any graduate degree candidate can apply, no restriction.
• You  must have a minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
• Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories.
• You must have a knowledge in Computer Operations or Computer Language…

To get recruited they will conduct a written examination followed by interview. Intelligence Bureau recruitment process requires candidates to appear for CGPE ( Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) which is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) every year.

Than to be a RAW agent, you should take Group A Civil Services exam under the Central Staffing Scheme. Then you will have to clear all the stages of Civil Service Examination.

After that if you qualify you will be allowed to write the RAW examination.
