can a commerce student study zoology through generic elective courses in college
Answer (1)
Hello, Govind!
As per the basic eligibility criterion, a student can pursue B.Sc. Hons. in Zoology course, if he/she has qualified (10+2) in science or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in Biology subject and in aggregate, from a recognized board of the country. Biology at your (10+2) level, is an essential requirement for pursuing a degree in Zoology, at undergraduate level.
But to study the subject as a generic elective course, even a commerce student is eligible if his/her college provides the course.
Hope this answer helps you.
