The minimum education qualification requirement to be eligible to apply for Combined Defence Service Examination and join in Officers Training Academy is that a candidate must have passed Bachelors Degree from a recognized board. The age must be in between 19-25 years. Female students are eligible to apply for OTA (Women) while male candidates are eligible to apply for Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy (Men).
You are not eligible to apply for CDS OTA if you just pass with Diploma in GNM course. Diploma is not equivalent to Bachelors Degree. You need to pass Bachelors Degree from a recognized board. To check the eligibility criteria click on the link below

One of the tests the UPSC offers is the CDS OTA exam. Officers Training Academy is also known as OTA, and CDS stands for Central Defense Service.
Eligibility:
Any graduating degree from an accredited university is required for qualifying for the Indian Military and OTA test.
An engineering degree from an accredited university is necessary to join the Indian Navy.
A graduate or bachelor's degree in engineering is required for employment in the Indian Air Force, with Physics and Mathematics being made obligatory in 12th grade.
The age requirements vary depending on the service. It is 19–24 for both the Indian Navy and the Indian Army.
For the Indian Air Force, the maximum age range is 20 to 24, with the upper age limit being relaxed to 26 years only for individuals who possess a DGCA-issued commercial pilot licence that is both current and valid (INDIA)
It is 19–25 for OTA (male and female).
