Hear i hv some question regarding this topic  why can't be a married girl can not join a army. If she is  self willingly means she has the right know to join. In our country means (India) each and every person has the right to do what ever they fell and they can select there carrier in a positive vibes if this true means. A married girls also have their rights right to select there career then Y can't they join a army. Each and every woman should get this chance to join a army that to a willing married woman should not be discouraged. So please government of India try to change this rule

Married people are not eligible for indian army. People tend to use these silly rules to their own benefit, they simply plan their wedding once the training is over and they've been appointed. It's as simple as that, no one in the army is 100% sincere they are all there to pride themselves in the respect,money and privileges it gives. India should change this rule for when a time comes like WWIII INDIA will need all the men/women it can find irrespective of their martial status . Untill then let peace prevail.

Glad to know about your interest to join army ,but unfortunately married women /men are not allowed to join the forces and the sole reason for this is the level of dedication and sole mindedness required for army couldn't be expected at it's best by the married ones who has responsibility of the marriage .

The women candidate from the CDS exam will be eligible for OTA officer training academy. The age limit is 19 years 25 years. And martial status that a woman need to have is unmarried or a widowed who have not re-married yet.
