Hello,
Since there is no upper age limit to appear for NEET, candidates can appear for the medical entrance exam as many times as they want. However, if you're already a medical student and have taken a seat in a medical college through NEET, you still need to pay the entire amount even of you quit. So, make sure you keep in mind that. Thank you!
Jagdish, if you have already joined a Medical College once and you are a MBBS student, you know the drill to become clear NEET and secure a seat. Now it is not clear whether you have secured a seat in a Government Medical College or Private Medical College or Deemed/Central University. If it is a GMC that you secured as seat in, you can leave the College with minimal or no penalty fees at all. But that is not the case with Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities. You have to pay the entire course fees before you quit. This is something that you need to decide before you appear for NEET. Because there is no upper age limit and no cap on no.of times you can appear for NEET, you being a Medical Student can still appear for NEET and should you get a seat you can join.
Yes, you can give NEET even if you are studying in a medical college already. Just keep in mind the age limit.
National testing agency (NTA) which is currently responsible for conducting NEET hasn't put any limits on the number of attempts. So you can appear for neet as many times, condition is only that you meet the criteria.
