Only mining diploma isn't enough
Minimum qualification for a junior overman in any coal sector is diploma in mining engineering of 3 year duration from a reputed institute,valid Overman's certificate of competency issued by director general of mines safety(DGMS),valid gas testing certificate and valid first aid certificate.

Yes because the eligibility I posted above was from CCL job notification 2020 for junior overman. You can do a Google search if you want.
