Can a M.tech graduate in computer science apply to ISRO through ICRB exam?
Hii Prabhu. The eligibility for the post of scientist or engineer at ISRO is that the applicant should have qualified in B.E/B.Tech or an equivalent qualifying degre with a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84 on a scale of 10. Applicants with a M.E/M.Tech degree along with B.Tech can also apply provided their B.Tech score meet the eligibility criteria that I have mentioned above. You will have to apply through Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ section of the ICRB portal. Just check if there is a opening for Computer Science Engineer's post or not. So if you meet the above mentioned criteria, you can surely apply to ISRO.
Yes you are eligible for ICRB , the minimum eligibility criteria for ISRO ,ICRB is BE/ B tech from any recognised University ,higher qualification will not make you less eligible but still ISRO also conduct requirement session for MTech students which is an advantage for you that you will have first promotion then BTech requirements.
Best of luck.
hi,
isro icrb recruits every year for different type of post which includes technician b, SCIENTIST OR ENGINEERS ETC. HOWEVER THERE IS RECRUITMENT FOR SCIENTIST POSITION IN ECE, COMPUTER SCIENCE AND MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT. as b.tech is the least qualification for applying in scientist post in computer science department. as you have m.tech in cse, you may definitely apply.
