Can a non maharastian get coep through coep if he clears cutoff

Just clearing the cutoff won't get you a seat in coep you have to be a Maharashtrian candidate or there are few criteria under which if a candidate falls he or she is eligible for admission in coep. Here are the criteria-
Type A: student passing SSC and HSC (or diploma) from Maharashtra and is either born in Maharashtra or is domicile of Maharashtra.
Type B: student who is not of Type A but whose father or mother are domiciled in Maharashtra.
Type C: student who is not of Type A or B and whose one of the parent is employee of Govt of India and is currently posted in Maharashtra.
Type D: student who is not of Type A or B or C and whose one of the parent is employee of Govt of Maharashtra (current or retired)
Type E: student who is not of Type A to D and who passed SSC and HSC from one of the institutions located in Maharashtra Karnataka disputed border and whose mothertongue is Marathi.
If you satisfy any of the above criteria, you can get admission into COEP.if not sorry you won't be able to get into coep
