Tamil nadu lateral entrance exam are for following candidates.

Tamilnadu candidates who have passes 10,12 ,diploma or bsc from Tamilnadu colleges or schools itself.

If they are Tamilnadu natives but they complete their studies from any other state, they should upload their native certificate.

Children of central government employees may also apply irrespective of their native,provided if their parents (any one)  are working under Tamil nadu government continuously for 5years.

Children of public sector or government sector employees who's parents employed in Tamilnadu continuously for next 5years can also apply irrespective of native. Appropriate certificate proving above condition should be submitted.

Children of all India service Tamilnadu  officers are eligible to apply.

Other state candidates who completes their study 9th,10th,11th,12th ,diploma can also apply.

Sreelankan refugees studied under Tamilnadu can also apply .

Coming to admission process ,candidates needed to submit an online application for courses BE/Btech coming under government, government aided, self financing colleges under annamalai university

Duration of BE/Btech is 3 years., BE - 4years.

Pass in diploma or BSc with pass percentage of 45(40 in case of BC, SC, ST).

Special reservation are given for sports person, children of Freedom fighters or ex serviceman, differently abled .
