It depends on the university criteria which will say you can or can't take admission to courses like Bsc Biochemistry after having a non-Bio back ground. Although most of the colleges have no obligation of bio. So you can pursue BSc Microbiology from most of the colleges but there can be some exception.
So I will recommend to check the criteria of the university you want to apply at. Now I can say you wont face any problem in Biochemistry as the courses are so structured that you will get a sufficient knowledge of Biology as required for chemistry. IF some problem arises its dependent on your dedication and thus I will say that there is no problem in terms of studying BioChemistry after 10+2 with PCM.

Yes, a PCM student can take and study Biochemistry. The eligibility criteria for admission into an under-graduate course is the marks of the 10+2 examinations with a minimum 50 percent aggregate in either PCB, PCM or PCMB.
