Yes, you are eligible to apply for PG in journalism and mass communication. Candidates from any stream with a minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation (from a recognized university) are eligible to apply.

Journalism and Mass communication is such a subject which comes both under MA and M.Sc.
It is upto you, if you want to opt for MA in Journalism and Mass communication, it is possible to switch streams from science stream to Arts stream but it is undesirable. You have to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in your final year. You may also appear in the various entrance exams that are conducted by different universities.
Courses in M.Sc in Maas communication and journalism is very rarely provided by colleges.
Direct admissions in some colleges can also be taken. For others you will have to appear in entrance examinations.
Dear Rahul, the basic eligibility criteria for Master's in Journalism and Mass Communication is that you should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Few Universities require a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication while few Universities allow candidates from other streams as well. So it depends on the University that you want to opt for your Masters. If you want to pursue your Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication, you should opt for a University that allows candidates from other streams as well. You will have to write an Entrance Examination for admission into Masters.
