Can a student from a not-so-good college get into IIM A, B or C?
Hello,
There are lot of factors taken into consideration when it comes to selection of IIM A/B/C such as CAT scores, the past academic records of the candidates for 10th/12th/UG, work experience, gaining knowledge through certification courses, the entire profile in terms of extra-curricular activities, volunteering etc, so there are lots of ways to improve oneself if not one comes from a not well known college, his/her academic records, CAT percentiles, entire profile can be build up, also what matters here are soft skills such as good communication skills, time management skills, critical thinking skills etc, as these also form basis of evaluation for candidates, so it's not difficult but a candidate needs to be well aware of the areas that require improvements, and accordingly take the steps to achieve the success.
