Hello Aspirant,

No humanities students would not be eligible to appear for NATA because the test is conducted for admission to Architecture course and therefore Mathematics subject is mandatory for it and hence you are ineligible to apply for it.

For your reference I am mentioning down the eligibility criteria for NATA :-

You must have passed class 12th with PCM subjects or if not class 12th then you should have passed 10+3 diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Other eligibility conditions vary from state to state which you can check out from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Candidates should have passed class 12 with PCM subjects or should have passed 10+3 diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject to be eligible for NATA. Hi aspirant,

Yes students from humanities background can also appeared for the NATA examination. The only necessary condition is that you must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The basic eligibility criteria defined for the examination says that either students should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board or must be a diploma holder with mathematics as a compulsory subject.

The students must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination. Humanities Candidates: Candidates with arts stream are also eligible to apply, if they have qualified the physics, chemistry and mathematics exams conducted by CBSE
Those from commerce and humanities streams can also get into architecture provided they have studied mathematics in class XII
