Hello,

If it is a serious eyesight issue it' is going to be problem. People having eye sight issues like injury in cornea, infective issues, retinal detachment, congenital problem and so on, then you are going to be rejected during the medical examination.

At the same time if its myopia or astigmatism, where in by eye power not exceeding - 3.75  for both the eyes then you can pursue your dreams.

I hope this information helps

Hello Anubhav !

As per the standards set up by AFMC, the medical test guarantees that the selected student is absolutely free from all possible disabilities and deformities.

For the eyes :

1. There shouldn't be any squint or infectious or morbid conditions of the eyelid.

2. For Myopia, the maximum limit of the power is -3.5 in any one meridian.

3. For Hypermetropia, the maximaum limit of the power is +3.5 in any one meridian.

Hope I could assist you.

All the Best !
