Can acommerce student or non PCM or non Computer Science student can take IT as option ?
Student should know that Programming is a common sense, It doesn’t come from only science Maths even humanities, It have enough common sense. Person from commerce background, Accounting background, They can all pick up IT, It’s a language as programming language, You have to look at analytical & logical thinking. If commerce student wants to switch off IT if they have done 12 th with commerce. HCL takes the commerce student & humanities student in for Tech Bee programme, They just need the business Maths because anywhere Business Maths is a part of Commerce curriculum. So we are only restricting Tech Bee programme for Science stream.

Hey,
if you are talking to take information technology as your branch in B.Tech then only PCM students are eligible to do so , there is nothing like if you are not computer science subject in your 10+2 then you aint eligible for same ,you are if your from PCM background
considering your question , i assume you are a commerce student that without having computers in your 10+2 but still want to make their career in field of information technology then i would suggest you to opt bachelors of computer application , commerce students are eligible for B.C.A course
hope this helps!
