BAMS or Bachelor of ayurvedic medicine and surgery is a course in which ayurvedic and ancient methodology of medicine and surgical procedures are been studied,It also covers a little of modern medicine.
The entrance exam to get admission in BAMS is NEET conducted by NTA. It is an entrance test of 3 hours duration including 200 questions and of 720 marks.
Since you haven't completed your question properly, the BAMS course is a bachelor course after which a individual can use "Dr" as prefix.
It's total duration is 5.5 years including 1 year internship in it. The average fee varies to 20k-2.5 lakh per annum between private and govt colleges and salary varies upto 2.5 lakh to 10 lakh per annum .
