CSE is computer science engineering. It's a stream in engineering. After completing your graduation you will become a computer engineer and after doing good job in any reputed company you will become a software engineer.

Under cse the subgroups are data base management system, microprocessor, computer graphics, data structure and algorithms, internet programming etc are present. But in CSE you have to study computer related subjects and there are no that kind of differentiation present.
