Consortium of medical, engineering, and dental colleges in Karnataka is known as Comedk. It is an independent institution that oversees the COMEDK tests required for the admission of qualified students to engineering programmes. This institute takes NEET results into account for dentistry and medical courses. The NATA test results are used to determine admission in architecture.

20,000 places are available on the COMEDK test, a state-level admission exam in which more than 190 engineering institutions take part. It is administered at 300 facilities across India.

Eligbility

No matter what state or area you reside in, you are qualified to take the COMEDK test if you are an Indian resident.

The applicant must have passed the 10+2 exam or an exam of equal standing from a board or university that is recognised.

Candidates from the general category must have received 45 percent in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, while those from the OBC, SC, and ST categories must have received 40 percent. Make sure English is a compulsory subject.

In addition to English, physics and mathematics are required subjects. One can choose between biology, computer science, biotechnology, chemistry, or electronics as an elective study.

Exam pattern

The COMEDK test consists of 180 multiple-choice questions, of which 60 pertain to physics, 60 to mathematics, and 60 to chemistry. Each accurate response earns the contender one mark. In this test, there are no fail grades. Only English can be used to take the exam. Other than English, there is no other language used in this essay.
