The practice strategy is simple. You don't have to do extra things, just follow the strategies that I will give.
First of all be confident. Practice regularly and maintain discipline.
Jee maths is not that much hard as other students make it look. It's simple and very enjoyable.
Firstly, you should know your weak and strong points. And this you can recognize by solving and doing lot of practice question for many chapters with one standard book. For mathematics refer and practice from cengage books. Find your weak points or chapters and make them strong by solving the chapter from this book.
Give practice tests regularly and if you have a pc / laptop then give online practice tests. Join a test series, as your whole chapter will be revised along with other subjects.
The best way to make your ground firm in mathematics is - revision through questions.
If you get stuck in any problem or make a mistake or is unable to solve it, then rectify it by reading it's concepts and its basic logics behind that question.
In maths some scoring chapters for jee mains are :-
- Coordinate geometry
- permutation and combinations
- probability
- vectors and 3d geometry
- sequence and series
- Calculus
These are very easiest and very toughest of all chapters and it depends on you that wether you make them easy or hard. Also make sure that you never left any chapter behind. All chapters are important. Practice questions, read concepts, but also make sure to give time to other subjects also.
Don't run behind different sorts of books available in market. Use one standard book which will help you in jee mains and jee advanced 2021.
If you have taken jee coaching somewhere, then never miss any class. Attend all those classes and make their dpps or practice sheets regularly.
Also make last previous 15 years question of mathematics and for other subjects. Solve all the previous years jee advanced objective type questions before 2012, because the chance of getting repeated that old questions in jee mains is seen very often.
Always use a correct approach in mathematics. Use the shortest available approach because if you solve a problem with a long approach, no doubt, your answer will come but it's of no use if you do that in 10 or 15 minutes. So use correct approach and the shortest approach. This is not board exams where you will solve questions in subjective manner. Practice using objective approach and this will only happen if you practice with standard book and regularly clear your doubts with your coaching teachers.
Just never give hope and practice under right guidance with a right mentor.
