Hello Kamlesh,Most of the top engineering institutions in India like Indian Institute of Technology, National Institute of Technology, IIIT and other government engineering college take admission on the basis of marks and ranks secured in the Joint Entrance Examination.There are several private institutes which conduct their own entrance exams like SRM, VIT, BMS, RVR, BITS PILANI, MANIPAL INSTITUTE, and many other state-level colleges.The above-mentioned college does conduct its own set of an exam. But frankly speaking, those are not as tough as JEE exam is meant. They are relatively easier. Anyone can easily get admission having the basic knowledge. Hope this helps.
