As per the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) scheme, you can study Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optometry) course which is in the list of approved courses of PMSSS Scheme. List of courses approved through PMSSS was released by the authorities.

students who passed 10+2 or equivalent exam through JK BOSE or CBSE board in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladhak. Also 10+3 Diploma students from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladhak Polytechnic Colleges are eligible for 2 nd year admission in affiliated Colleges for the vacant seats.
