Yes there is an increase in the number of seats

. According to the announcement on March 1st there is an increase in of number of seats by 25 percentage and this is mainly due to the fact that some extra 10 percentage seats are reserved for the EWS(economically weak section) students.Hence as per as the new reservation for the seats,we can clearly say that the number of seats  would increase at NITs.
