Once you join a Medical college, you are a Medical student under that College. Lets say if you secured a seat in the 1st counselling of NEET and you picjed it up but in the 2nd counselling you got a better College. You have an option of free exit. In such case, you needn't pay anything. You eill be refunded the refundable amount. It is also a virtual vacancy for another candidate. But you need to go to 1st college and surrender the seat in person. But lets say you joined the College and then you get a better seat in AIIMS, you may have to pay the bond amount to forgo the seat because the college is losing a potential candidate for its entire course. This needs to be communicated to the Administration and negotiated with them.
