The following qualifications are needed to become a virologist in India:
- In India, you must have earned your 10+2 degree from an accredited institution or college.
- In your most recent test, you should have received at least a 55 to 60 percent score.

- After completing your undergraduate studies, you must pursue an M. Sc. in Virology. You may become a virologist in India thanks to this.
- If you want to have the finest employment chances, you can also choose to do a Ph.D. course in virology.
Get your licence so you may work as a virologist in India. You will be eligible to earn the licence for virology once you have finished your research on it for at least three to six years.
