Hi Shivam

The counselling for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) in online mode.

There are seven rounds of seat allotment for the qualified candidates in which seats are allotted on the basis of merit, choice filling and availability of seats.

Candidates will have to register themselves first with JoSAA, followed by filling of choice of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. After filling the choices, candidates will be allotted seats. Candidates will have the option to either accept the seat allotted or upgrade it, if not satisfied. In case, candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted, they will have to verify their documents and report at the allotted institute.
