CAT or common Admission test is a highly competitive exam conducted by the IIM's. It is computer based exam. Around 2.44 lakh students give this exam.
Eligibility Criteria :- Must be graduated with 50% marks and final year students can also appear for this exam.
About paper pattern:-
This paper is MCQS based. Paper is of 300 marks. Total number of question are 100. Time duration for this exam is 180 minutes. For correct questions marking will be 3 marks. And for incorrect there will be negative marking of 1 marks.
There are 3 sections in the paper:-
1. Quantative Aptitude:- It includes basic Arithmetic, Algebra, mensuration, geometry, modern maths etc.
2. Verbal Ability:- Reading comprehension, grammar, substitution words,etc.
3. Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation:- Basic Reasoning, data suffieciency , etc
Tentative Dates for this exam:-
Registration:- In the month of August
Exam Date:- In the month of November
Results:- in the month of january.
