MOST IMPORTANT TOPICS-

organic chemistry, chemical compounds, coordination compounds, p-block elements, thermodynamics, equilibrium, biomolecules, aldehydes, ketons, carboxylic acids, alcohol, phenol, ether, chemical kinetics.

IMPORTANT TOPICS-

redox reaction, s block elements, D and F blocks, solutions, structure of atoms, classificatio of elements and periodicity, hudrocarbons, hydrogens, haloalkanes, organic compounds.

These are the important topics you can concentrate on, hopefully it will help you score better. Best of luck

Hi Aayush!

Ensure that you are thorough with the NCERT prescribed textbooks for a good foundation. Understand the solved examples because the analogies in the answers are quite similar to tackle entrance questions.

I recommend that you try to study all the chapters because few questions can come from chapters that you may not consider as important; one/each question can decide your rank and percentile. Some important topics and units mentioned in NCERT syllabus are:

  • Physics : Kinematics/Dynamics/Rotational Motion/Properties of Bulk Matter/Oscillations and Waves/Electricity/Magnetism/Optics
  • Chemistry : Chemical Bonding/States of Matter(Grade 11 and 12)/Thermodynamics/Equilibrium/Organic Chemistry(Grade 11 and 12)/s and p Block Elements/Chemical Kinetics
  • Biology : Plant and Animal Kingdom/Morphology and Diversity of Plants/Cell Structure and Function/Mineral Nutrition and Photosynthesis/Human Physiology/Plant and human Reproduction/Genetics and Evolution/Biotechnology

For reactions, you need to understand the concept(organic chemistry) and write them to remember and continuously revise.

Hope this answers your question!

Hi Ayush,

Overall chemistry is important but if you want to score high, you should be well versed in your basics viz. atomic structure, solid state , inorganic chemistry , organic chemistry(very imp) as well.

What different you are supposed to do is solve MCQ as much as you can and go for complex MCQs . Solve AIIMS sample papers and previous year paper Also.

Keep working hard.

Hello

135 + score is really a good score in aiims. Those who score this much have given their best to studies and have read everything from ncert . to tell the important topics is very difficult.

I mean that ncert which you have itself is the least or max you can do . if you do not study it properly you might think that it was easy and you have completed it.

But if you read it properly then only you would undertsand that the book has everything which you need to know.

Important chapters you can get but topics can not be said to be important as questions are very much related too

If you want to know important then i would suggest that plz revise from NCERT and you need not know the important topics.

Make a good schedule and read everything properly

I would tell you the important chapters -

Physics :

45-50% is from thermodynamics electric charges and fields semiconductor electronics

25-30% kinetic theory newton's law work motion power energy emi wave optics .

Chemistry

- 45-50% chemical energetics chemical bonding functional grp d and f block coordination compounds

25- 30% organic chemistry

Biology -

55-65% environmental issue ecosystem strategies for enhancment of food production biodiversity principles of inheritence and variation molecular basis of inheritance photosynthetis respiration growth and development cell biotech nervous and coordination movemwnt and locomotion

I hope it helps

All the very best
