Hello,

Seat allotment is influenced by factors such as the category of the candidate, rank of the candidate, preferences of institute and seat availability. If there is vacant seat in any of the preferred choices then the candidate will be allotted seat based on his/her rank and category. For this reason the candidate must ensure that he/she fill the choices in order of the priority and fill only the institutes in which he/she is interested to join. And to avoid the disappointment of not getting seat allotment you need to fill more number of choices in the choice filling form.
