Can anyone tell me about SCRA (Special class railway apprentice) exam conducted by UPSC and it's application form date for 2019 ???

SCRA was conducted by UPSC for selection of candidates for appointment as Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. From 2016, the exam has been discontinued by UPSC.

SCRA is an entrance exam which is held by UPSC for giving jobs to the candidates in Railway department.
commencement of application form is december 2018.The application fee is not same for all candidatesit depends upon the category which candidates belong expected application fee is rs 100.
eligibility :
- Candidates ahould be atleast 12th pass with physics, chemistry, and mathematics with atleast 45 % marks.
- Students who have appeared first year examination of graduation(3 yr degree) with second division will also be applicable for scra 2019\
- Students who have approved in Pre -engineering with atleast 2nd division are also eligible
