National Institute of Design (NID) conducts Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for admissions to 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programme s offered at NID, Ahmedabad. A total of 100 seats are allocated across eight undergraduate design programmes . Admission to all of the programmes is granted on the basis of a two-stage competitive exam- Prelims and Mains. The objective of NID DAT is to assess the knowledge, skills and behavioral abilities of candidates. Aspirants, who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations, c an apply to appear for the entrance exam.
