With this GATE rank you can expect a call from almost all the IIT's (irrescpective of streams). IIT B can be little tough but still apply for it.
I think that power and oil sector is great for mechanical engineers.
Psu like IOCL , ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL are some from which you can get a call.
