Its good that you have accepted that you are not interested in B.tech and still want to pursue a career in Computer an technology related fields.First of all MCA is a great option for that.

First you will have to complete a 3 year BCA course and then you can pursue MCA.In coming years, there will be huge growth in IT sector because this is a sector that requires continuous advancement so there will lot of jobs in this sector.If you will pursue BCA and MCA from a good college then you will get placed in top IT companies with 8-10 LPA package.This is a very promising field and you can definitely go for it if you have Interest.
