can anyone tell me the rules of 75% attendence in medical college ? aur agr meri 75% se km hai toh kya kya ho skta h . madhyapradesh govt med clg.
All universities and academic institutions in India have set a strict rule for student which says the individual must attain a minimum of 75% in his/her attendance failing which he/she is unable to seat for the examinations and thus the promotion is denied. Medical Colleges are no different rather, many of them asks the students to have a minimum of 80 percent attendance.
Two things can happen if you fail to have less than 75% attendance:-
1.If your attendance is less than 75% per subject you won't be allowed to appear the professional exam of that subject and obviously that means you failed the year in which your attendance was less. So the obvious thing is you have to repeat the year you failed.
2. Professors in MBBS usually have a good experience about the subjects they are going to teach and they have gathered this knowledge from different resources. So if you are going to miss those classes then no book can give you the plethora of knowledge that a professor can.
So in short if you seriously want to be successful doctor then do attend classes not for attendance sake do that for knowledge you gonna get. Incase any serious health issues you may be allowed to give exam but still you need 75% attendance at least.
