Hi aspirant

The DU admission is as mentioned below:

Step 1: filling of registration forms

Step 2: matching the cutoffs released by colleges

Step 3: admission in college and fees payment

The process of registration is closed now and the Colleges have released the first cutoff and next round of cutoffs will be released accordingly.

Now you have to check out the cutoffs and match your best four score with the course and college cutoffs. If you get a match, then you need to reach the college with all your documents and print out of registration form (documents include provisional certificate, marksheet, character certificate, photograph, caste certificate etc etc).

Then there you need to fill up the College form and submit your documents and then within 24 hours open up the DU registration portal to pay the College fees.

Done. Sorted. You have grabbed a seat for yourself in the College.

All the best.

Sorry nothing can be done for that.
You can come to Delhi before hand and wait for the cutoff because eventually you have to be physically present to take admission in any College when you match the cutoff.
You check the cutoff siting at your home and on matching decide to come Delhi which will take you 5-6 days, by that time next two cutoffs will be out and you won't be given admission because seats are limited in the university.
You need to arrange something regarding this time problem, it's advisable that you should come to Delhi before hand.

Hello Boini,

You must have registered for the Delhi university ug courses when the registration windows was open.

After that the Delhi university releases it's cutoffs one by one.

Once you recognize the college and course you can get admission according to cutoff (any cutoff) released by Delhi university you should visit the college in the given time period for admission.

The admission period is usually for 2- 3 days.

Once you reach the college, the college authorities would do the further proceedings.

After you get admission in the college, you have to then pay your course fees online, preferably on the same day.

The fees payment is to confirm your admission in the college. Till the time you do not pay the fees your admission is not confirmed.

I hope this helps.

All the best for the future!!

Hey,

Greetings. Admissions in DU are based on both merit and for few courses it depends on your entrance test. Du generally releases four to five cut offs every year. You need to register yourself on du portal before the cut offs are released. Once the cut off is announced, you can check your merit and look for colleges which allow admission in the score mentioned. You have to get a form of the same college from DU portal and take your documents along like Xth class marksheet, XIIth marksheet, two self attested photographs etc. They can ask for other documents along in case of reserved category. Also, you'll have to pay the fees online within 24 hours according to a new update. Once your admission is verified and the fees in paid, you're admitted to the college.
