Yes, candidates who have passed 10+2 in Arts Stream (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) with English as core/elective subject from a recognized board can apply for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course provided they must score the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination that 10+2 or its equivalent. GNM: GNM full form is General Nursing and Auxiliary. It is a 3.5 to 4 years Diploma degree course. It is a Diploma level course. Admission is based on merit or entrance exam like JIPMER Nursing Entrance exam, AIIMS Nursing Entrance exam, BHU Nursing Entrance exam etc.
